THE PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART-"Everything with You"

So Check it, this is also one of my new favorite NYC bands. They're called The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and there late 80's early 90's semi shoegaze pop is in heavy rotation at the crib and will be all summer. Here is the vid for "Everything With You" LUV IT!

BLANK DOGS-"Setting Fire to Your House"

So Check it, this is one of my favorite new bands outta NYC. I heard Blank Dogs last summer at Cake Shop and I have been listening to them ever since. They remind me a lot of the dark minimal synth bands from the 80's, Fad Gadget, Cabaret Voltaire, etc.. Here is their vid for "Setting Fire to Your House." LUV IT!

So check it, this beaatch Lady Sov has been M.I.A(no pun, big pun, no homo) for a minute. Anyhoo she's back after a few public break downs(fame is soooo hard) with a new record coming out on April 6th and a new "Warriors"/"A Clock "WERK!" Orange" inspired vid called "I Got You Dancing" LUVIT!(or hate it.) p.s Sov is playin at Piano's on Monday Jan 26th. p.p.s she looks like Louisaaah in the car shots. yep.
