So Check it, Dinosaur Jr. was one of my favorite bands back in the day and i was able to see the original line up play at ATP last fall. Very loud and very fucking awesome. Anyhoo they are still kickin' as you can tell by this stunt heavy vid for "Over It' off of their new record. This vid rules! LUV IT! p.s the Dinosaur J.R deck can be copped, i saw a few at my boys record store back home.

COLD CAVE - "The Trees Grew Emotions and Died"

So Check it, I found out about Cold Cave last spring when they opened up for Crystal Stilts at the Bowery. I copped the 7" for this song "The Trees Grew Emotions and Died" and recently copped their new excellent full length "Love Comes Close"(go get it now!). They don't have any vids yet, and i can't wait any longer, so here is a post of the song "The Trees Grew Emotions and Died." It's posted with a still shot of the cover of the 7". The real question is why did i pass on a tee shirt with the same cover art on it, that they were selling at the show? stupid, stupid man. LUV IT!

CROCODILES-"Neon Jesus"

So check it, i have been listing to Crocodiles all summer, caught a couple of their shows back in June, and even copped one of their pretty kick ass tees. This band seems to have channelled some of my favorite shit, Jesus and Mary Chain, Spacmen 3, Suicide, and Spiritualized. Most of the time i would dis a band for copying a certain bands steez but Crocodiles do it the right way, which is not an easy thing to do. They accept the torch very well. It helps that they just flat out write killer hooks, and killer songs(literally i guess.) Anyhow the track "I Wanna Kill" has been in heavy ro at my crib since May. Unfortunately there is not a vid for that song yet sooooo i have to post their song "Neon Jesus" which, I assure you, is no stinker. So peep it "Neon Jesus" from Crocodiles. LUV IT!
